Arts Council Funding is Secured for Regional TOUR
Neshima Dance Company and Swerve Dance Theatre are delighted to announce their successful bid for a Grants for The Arts Award, from the Arts Council England. This award will support both companies on a South West regional tour of ‘Subtext’ in autumn 2012 including six regional theatre venues and five educational settings in five counties.

Subtext is an exciting full length Double bill Dance Theatre programme featuring two pieces by Batel Magen (Bristol, Neshima) and two by Helen Ganberg (Swindon, Swerve). Subtext is a dynamic and contemporary evening exploring the themes of languages and communication using unique and explosive dance fused with witty and vibrant theatre. The performance investigates the nuances and rhythms of language, physicalizes the subtlety of routine communication, and guides the audience through a journey of words.
